Sympathetic : "Stress"

 

Oh no, you have that big biology test!  You're stressing out!  The sympathetic nervous system prepares your body for this stressful event, as it runs thru your spinal cord.

 

Parasympathetic: "Calm"

 

Now that the test is over, you're getting back to normal, which is what the parasympathetic nervous system does, as it is a cranial nerve which links your brain to other body parts.
